Winding Down in Wine Country

Weekends come and go really quickly, am I right? Five long days of work should definitely be repaid more gratuitously. Luckily, living in Berkeley means that I am only an hour away from the famed California Wine Country. Ever since that discovery, I’ve been making the trip at least once a month to make the most of the sun, green fields, and duh, wine.

There’s something about homes covered in Ivy that makes everything so much more romantic and old world. At Walt Wineries we had some great pinot noir to end the day with.

Fields. So many fields. I finally fulfilled a lifelong dream of pulling over to the side of the road and run in a field of flowers._MG_2043
Really great lighting and wine at the Buena Vista Winery.

Really delicious cheese and Passion Fruit olive oil was to be had at the Sonoma Cheese Factory, little did I know. What are your favorite wineries in and around the Napa region? Let me know!
