Prepping for El Nino in SF

Prepping for El Nino in SF
 J. Crew Cocoon Coat – In rotation of J.Crew’s annual winter collection since 2006, this coat must be pretty special.  When I first laid eyes on this soft minty-green garment, I wasn’t impressed. But now that it’s starting to get darker earlier, having a bright jacket in rotation is ideal.

Rag & Bone Sweater – Rag & Bone is always on point with the staples that I’ll probably keep in my closet for many, many years. Can’t really go wrong with a white sweater.

3.1 Philip Lim ‘Soleil’ Mini Bag –  It might be time to take my Camello MG out of rotation for the winter, especially if I’m trading it in for something darker and more gloom appropriate. The chain strap is a straight cool accent to an otherwise classic bag.

Loeffler Randall Rain Boots – These babies made their debut last year and since it only rained a maximum of 2 times, I decided to pass on them. But if the El Nino holds true this year, the first rain-themed purchase I’ll be making this year.

Gina Cueto Emoji Bracelet – I first saw Gina Cueto’s stuff at my favorite Miami boutique, Roses and Dreams and ever since then I’ve been religiously keeping up with her new stuff via Instagram. Millennial, emoji-loving and bracelet wearing citizens need to look no further.

Madewell Polka Dot Socks – Socks, everyones got to have them and everyone is going to unintentionally break up a devoted and loving sock couple.

AC for AG Jeans – The first pair of grossly expensive jeans that I ever owned was a pair of dark wash, AG flares from Nordstrom back when I was in high school (Orange County is a slightly disgusting place to grow up in). Years later, I’m making my own money and the first pair of jeans I pay full price for is a pair (or two) of AG’s. What can I say, they fit very well.
